Classic Eyelash Extensions
1:1 Ratio - The most natural looking lash extensions
Treatment Description
Classic Eyelash Extensions are best for individuals who have normal - thick natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibres that are glued to the natural lashes to make them appear longer, thicker and darker. Individual fibers are attached to each natural lash, one at a time. The goal of lash extensions is to give the eyes a made-up appearance without the use of mascara or other eye makeup. Extensions come in different lengths, levels of curls and thicknesses. Once applied, eyelash extensions should last the average lifespan of natural eyelashes, which ranges from person to person. During the treatment, the lower lashes will be taped to the skin using surgical tape. This reduces the risk of accidental gluing of the lower lashes to the upper ones. The eyes will remain closed for the entire process and possibly a few minutes afterward to allow the glue to thoroughly dry. Infill appointments should be made 2 - 3 weeks after the first full lash extension treatment. In order to qualify for for an infill, 40% of the extensions must remain on the natural lashes. If you have any of the following conditions apply, you will not be able to book an appointment: - Trichotillomania – Stress or anxiety-induced urge to pull out hair, including eyelashes - Eyelid dermatitis – A skin condition that causes eyelid skin to burn, be red and itchy - Blepharitis – Inflammation of the eyelids that causes red, swollen eyelids and a crusty eyelash line - Alopecia areata - A condition that causes full or partial hair loss on the scalp and may affect the eyebrows and eyelashes - Conjunctivitis - Infection in the eye causing redness, itching, burning, gritty feeling or pus that sticks to lashes. *Please note, a patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to treatment*
